So, like, I don’t want to break the internet or anything, but—

I was on the tube* today and Tom Hiddleston got on.  He sat down and read an article in the Times** about the new TV versions of Shakespeare’s history plays (which he happens to be in).  Someone approached him and asked him something I couldn’t hear, and he said ‘My name’s Tom’ and shook their hand.  They had a brief chat and got off the train together at my stop, then Hiddleston shook the other person’s hand again and said, ‘Nice to meet you, take care.’  He came out of the station and we walked alongside each other on opposite sides of the street for a bit before I turned the corner onto my street.

So I think maybe he lives near me?

Also I bought some new drawers to go in the bottom of the wardrobe, and a lamp, and I finished sorting and shelving my books, and Pear and I had a take-away***.
